1.
What file formats do you accept?
For die-cut vinyl jobs, we accept Adobe Illustrator
(.ai) and Adobe Illustrator EPS (.eps)
*Please note that a raster
file (jpg, bmp, tif) embedded into and Illustrator EPS/AI
file are NOT acceptable (See #2 Below)
For printed items, we accept JPEGs (.jpg), TIFFs (.tif),
and Adobe Photoshop (.psd).
2. What is the difference between raster & vector
graphics?
Raster files, also referred to as bitmaps,
are images made up of pixels. Vector files are made
up of points and coordinates, which is what our machines
use to cut out your artwork. You should be able to see
the difference if you zoom in close. Raster files will
begin to pixelize, but vector files should not.

"Placing" or "Pasting" a jpeg or
bitmap file into an Adobe Illustrator or EPS file will
not create an acceptable file. This will still require
scan/conversion.
3.
What resolution should I create my file in?
In order to print banners and posters, we require
your file to be at least 150dpi at the actual size.
Meaning that if your product will be 2 feet by 3 feet,
you must create your file at 24" x 36" @150dpi.
Files that do not meet these requirements cannot be
guaranteed for optimal quality.
4.
How can I submit my artwork to you?
You can bring your file by our shop
in person. We accept CDs, floppies, and thumb drives.
You may also email
your file to us. Please limit your sample files to 1MB.
Files larger than this will not be accepted. Once your
order is placed we may ask you for a larger file.
5. Do you take MAC files?
We have compatible
MAC software, but to minimize complications, it is recommended
that you bring in PC compatible files/discs. We
cannot open MAC Stuffit files (sit/sitix).
